I think we as parents of newborns need to own stock in Kodak, battery, toy, diaper & formula manufacturers...yet another pack of 200+ prints back to hand out to everyone...

I know the whole printing out of the photos and having to distribute them thing. It gets expensive, though I found that Snapfish.com is very reasonable and the quality is excellent. You can get a 1000 prints for 100 bucks + shipping ( about 4-5 cents per print). Plus they have deals like get 20 prints free on your first order. If you're interested, I'll send you a referral link.
